Tidy Towns & Amenity Grants Scheme 2020
Tidy Towns & Amenity Grants applications can be submitted online from

Monday 24th Feb to Tuesday 24th Mar

using ‘My Online Services’ portal. Click here for more information.

Heritage Research Bursary 2020

Roscommon County Council is now inviting applications for the Heritage Research Bursary 2020. The research topic or site must be located in County Roscommon. The research project must be at MA, MSc or PhD level in a recognised third level college. There is one bursary award only. The maximum value of the award is €1,000.00. Projects must be completed by 31st October 2020.

 

This year applications will only be accepted via My Online Services. Register for online services at www.roscommoncoco.ie

 

The closing date for receipt of completed application and accompanying information is 5.00 pm on Monday, 30th March 2020. All enquiries to Áine Butler, Heritage Office – Telephone (090) 6637271 or e-mail: heritage@roscommoncoco.ie. This project is an action of the County Roscommon Heritage Plan 2017-2021.

WRDATF/HSE Rehab Bursary Fund

After the success of the WRDATF/HSE Rehab Bursary Fund in 2019, the WRDATF are delighted to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2020 Rehab Bursary Fund. The bursaries are available under 3 strands:

Strand 1: Rehab Bursary for individuals in recovery from alcohol/ drugs

Strand 2: Education Bursary for individuals in recovery from alcohol/ drugs

Strand 3: Rehab Innovation Fund for organisations/groups who which to set up an initiative aimed at supporting individuals in recovery from alcohol/drugs.

Bank of Ireland Begin Together Fund 2020 is Closing Soon

The Begin Together fund will support new and existing project-based activities with grants of between €3,000 and up to €5,000 (or the sterling equivalent) for local, not for profit groups working to improve the financial physical and/or mental wellbeing of the communities they serve across all counties on the island of Ireland. Create and Fire Station Artists’ Studios Artist Residency Award – Open Call 

Create and Fire Station Artists’ Studios invite expressions of interest from collaborative artists with migrant and minority ethnic backgrounds that are based in the Republic of Ireland, for a four week residency award at Fire Station Artists’ Studios (FSAS), situated in Dublin’s City Centre. Meet, Share and Learn Mayo. Hosted by Caroline Wilson, The Wheels Local Representative for Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo, we will provide you with the opportunity to network with local nonprofits; share the great work you are doing; and, find out about supports and resources that will help you in your compliance with the new Charities Governance Code.

Venue: Castlebar Regional Training Centre, Gorteendrunagh, Castlebar

Roscommon Environment Network 

are holding a a general meeting of the Network on Wednesday, 18 March 2020 from 19:30-22:30 in Fourmile House Commuity Centre – all welcome!

National Tree Week 2020
This year National Tree Week will take place from 21st March to 27th March 2020. A limited number of trees will be made available from the Tree Council of Ireland to Roscommon County Council for distribution to Community Groups and Schools. Click here for more information.
