This World Access to Higher Education Day, the College Connect team in partnership with the Irish Refugee Council are delighted to invite you to their research launch seminar exploring a participatory action peer-research project advocating for better access to higher education for refugees and people in the protection process in Ireland.

Stemming from a community needs analysis conducted with over 100 refugees and people seeking asylum in Ireland, the report reveals access issues and barriers to higher education that this community face and makes a series of recommendations.

In addition to the research findings, you will learn about the creative projects and cultural training modules that were developed from the research, with direct input from the peer-researchers, creatives, and project collaborators involved.
