UPCOMING ONLINE TRAINING – Friday, 29th October
We wish to remind members of our upcoming online training which is being hosted by AILG in conjunction with the Office of the Planning Regulator on Friday, 29th October from 10am – 11.30am.
The title for the overall webinar is called “How to Implement National Renewable Energy Targets in Development Plans”. This webinar will be split into two parts.
(i) ‘Emerging Good Practice on Climate Action in Development Plans’.
(ii) ‘Local Authority Perspectives on the Integration of Climate Action into Development Plans’.
Andrew Murray, Senior Planner with Offaly County Council will provide an overview of how Offaly County Council integrated climate action initiatives into the recently adopted Offaly County Development Plan.
Tadhg Madden, Senior Executive Engineer with Laois County Council will give an overview of the Portlaoise Low Carbon Town (Decarbonisation Zone) initiative.
