Text Alert Rebates

On 20 September 2018, the Minister for Justice and Equality, Charlie Flanagan, renewed the Text Alert Rebate Scheme for a further year.. Muintir na Tíre will adminster this scheme on behalf of all eligible Text Alert Groups. The scheme will see groups receive a rebate on their eligible operating costs.

To be eligible, groups must:

Have registered with An Garda Síochána using form TA1, before 31 August 2018
Comply with the agreed Text Alert guidelines

Eligible costs include the following costs for the previous 12 months:

Costs of issuing texts
Cost of insurance
Affiliation fees

Groups should submit an application to Muintir na Tíre before 30 November 2018 on the application form below and enclose evidence of eligible costs. This can take the form of an invoice dated anytime within the previous 12 months. Please note the closing date will be strictly adhered to this year.
