Roscommon County Council, Social Inclusion Unit is running Social Inclusion Awareness Week this year from Monday 15th October – Sunday 21st October 2018. The purpose of the week is to increase awareness and understanding of inclusion and diversity within the County. The theme for this year’s event is “Healthy Roscommon“ We are particularly interested in healthy initiatives which aim to combat social isolation and promote positive mental health, but entries are welcome for all event types so long as there is a Social Inclusion aspect.
We are inviting groups and organizations involved in social inclusion to host an event during Social Inclusion Awareness Week. All events will be included in a brochure which we will also use to promote and highlight the week.
A small support budget will be made available to support events of particular significance or reach to an identified target group.
